Our Kenan Fellow Robyn Stanek started her internship

We are excited to welcome our first Kenan Fellow Robyn to our lab. She is a biology/physics teacher at the Wakefield High School (Raleigh, NC) and will spend next three weeks in our lab to learn fly genetics, neuroscience, behavior experiments, imaging and more. Welcome, Robyn!

Drew awarded a postdoctoral fellowship (F32) from NIH!

Drew will be fully supported by the prestigious fellowship funded by the NIH's BRAIN Initiative for three years. Congratulations, Drew!

Now 2 of the 2 postdocs in our lab are supported by their own fellowships. Kudos to both of you!

Toshi awarded an NSF grant!

This 4-year grant will help us expand the collaborative project with Dr. Moshe Parnas. We are also excited about starting our first outreach activity. Our lab will participate in the Kenan Fellows Program by hosting summer internships for local K-12 teachers.
